The Akron man accused of shooting his girlfriend in front of her three young children last year has pleaded guilty to 14 charges, Summit County prosecutors said.

Jamarian Williams, 26, is scheduled to be sentenced June 9.

Prosecutors said that Williams in August kicked in the door of his girlfriend’s Inman Street house and shoot her three times in front of three children — an infant, a 3- and a 4 year-old.

After the shooting, Williams fled, leading police on a short chase, during which he tossed the gun he used out of his vehicle’s window.

None of the children were physically harmed during the incident. The woman who was shot — Bianca Haskell — survived following surgery to save her life.

Among other things, Williams Friday pleaded guilty to attempted murder, felonious assault and domestic violence.

Williams, who was on probation for a different case at the time of the shooting, also pleaded guilty Friday to a community control violation.
