A 19-year-old woman had non-life threatening injuries after accidentally being shot early Thursday morning at 1122 Ericcson Ave. in Akron.
Akron police said the woman and three males were playing with a gun when it went off shortly after 2 a.m., hitting the woman in the chest.
The woman was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Police did not name her and said they are seeking to identify the three males who were with her at the time of the incident.
Ericcson Avenue, near Hillwood Park, runs between South Arlington Street and Rosemary Boulevard, just east of Akron Fulton International Airport.
