A Ravenna man turned himself in Thursday morning after the Portage County sheriff’s office issued arrest warrants for him and an Akron man on suspicion of breaking into a Suffield Township barn earlier this month.
David W. Recklaw, 40, with a last known address of 6464 Newton Falls Road in Ravenna, turned himself in at the Portage County Courthouse, Lt. Gregory A. Johnson in the sheriff’s office said.
Sheriffs are still looking for Troy S. Ash, 40 with a last known address of 62 Wymore Ave., Akron.
The two men are suspects in the Aug. 3 break-in at Moxie Stables in Suffield Township, Portage County, based on video footage, early morning on Aug. 3, the sheriff’s office said in a release.
The men also will be questioned regarding other break-ins of barns and sheds in communities in Portage County and in Stark County, Johnson said. Small lawn and garden equipment was taken in those thefts.
