Canton police are continuing to investigate Saturday’s shooting death of an 88-year-old homeowner.
Officers responded shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday to a residence at 316 Montrose Ave. N.W., where they discovered the body of Eugene H. Render in the kitchen.
A statement released by the Stark County Coroner’s office said Render died of multiple gunshot wounds.
