A man, 25, was charged with telecommunications harassment June 9 after he allegedly called his ex-girlfriend repeatedly on Newell Street.
Domestic violence
A domestic violence warrant was issued for a woman, 39, who allegedly threatened to kill her sister June 6 in her 27th Street Northwest home.
Thefts
A welder valued at $1,000 was reported stolen June 7 from a Third Street Northwest driveway.
A Baird Avenue resident told police June 6 that a contractor accepted $825 to begin work on the roof and chimney but never returned.

Aggravated robbery
Two gunmen robbed employees of Colonial Pharmacy, 1915 Cleveland-Massillon Road, and escaped with cash and narcotics June 6.

A bracelet and other jewelry were reported stolen June 4 from a Peninsula Drive home.

Arrests
An Americana Drive man, 34, faces drug charges following a traffic stop June 7 on state Route 8 near Broad Boulevard. Police reported finding a prescription drug, a spoon and hypodermic syringes in the car. Police said the man gave a false name, then ran from the scene.
Two juveniles were charged with possession of fireworks and discharging fireworks from a car June 6. They are accused of throwing fireworks at pedestrians along Silver Lake Avenue and Prange Drive.
A Curtis Avenue man, 38, was charged with domestic violence, criminal damaging and disorderly conduct June 9 after he allegedly broke an apartment window in the 1400 block of Front Street and assaulted his girlfriend.
A Second Street man, 35, was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe containing heroin during a traffic stop June 9 on Front Street at Bailey Road. A passenger in the car was arrested on a warrant for allegedly having an illegal knife.
Two Stow boys, both 11, were charged with firing air guns in city limits June 11. They are accused of shooting a girl, 6, and a pickup truck. The child did not need medical attention.

A woman told police June 9 that juveniles entered her Broad Boulevard home, threatened her children, made lewd suggestions to them and tore down a section of porch railing.
A bedroom set was stolen June 12 from a home in the 2800 block of Seventh Street.
Someone broke into a home in the 500 block of Marguerite Avenue and stole a TV and other items June 12.
Someone broke into a home June 10 in the 1200 block of Hillcrest Drive and stole medicine and a computer.
Identity fraud
Someone charged $10,000 in merchandise with a credit card belonging to Cardinal Asphalt, 1330 Orlen Ave., according to a June 7 report.
Thefts
A Value City employee told police June 12 that an employee is suspected of stealing more than $11,000 between December and May 28.
A Mogadore woman, 53, told police June 5 someone took her purse from a chair at Panera Bread, 689 Howe Ave.
Two bread racks, total value $700, were taken June 7 from outside Sam’s Club, 1189 Buchholzer Boulevard.

Someone broke a window June 5 at a Moore Road home and stole an iPod, two Coach purses and other items, total value $2,670.

A Rex Lake Road man, 18, was charged with felony domestic violence June 7 after he allegedly threatened to kill someone in his family.

A Norton Avenue man, 32, was arrested June 12 on a Holmes County warrant alleging he failed to register as a sex offender.

A Friar Road boy, 12, was charged with disseminating material harmful to juveniles June 7. He is accused of posting an inappropriate Photoshopped picture of a boy, 13, on a website.
Two teens, 16 and 17, were charged with theft and curfew violations June 11. An officer found the two walking on Kent Road after 1:30 a.m. Police reported the teens possessed stolen property in their backpacks.
A woman, 41, was charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest and walking on a highway June 13 after police found her on state Route 8.
A boy, 16, was charged with domestic violence June 13.

Someone broke into a garage June 11 in the 4600 block of Dresher Trail and stole a garage door opener and car charger.
Someone tried to enter an apartment June 7 in the 4100 block of Bridgewater Parkway.
Thefts
A Graham Road man, 69, reported June 8 he was charged for a $1,400 computer monitor he did not order or receive from Dell. A company employee told the man the monitor was delivered in March.
Construction equipment was stolen from a construction site in the 1000 block of Graham Road.
Jewelry valued at $1,200 was taken June 406 from a home in the 3600 block of Marcella Avenue.

Someone entered a Nolt Drive home June 10 and stole two handguns and ammunition, total value $520.

A $1,500 utility trailer was stolen from the Marlboro Partnership parking lot on East Waterloo Road.

A Lakemore woman, 34, was charged with possession of drugs and drug abuse instruments and a Lakemore woman, 29, was charged with robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia June 9. The second woman is accused of stealing from Acme, 600 South Ave., then assaulting a security officer who tried to stop her from leaving.
A Tallmadge man, 21, was charged with aggravated menacing, domestic violence, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia June 12.
A Fernwood Avenue woman, 48, was charged with domestic violence June 11 after she allegedly punched a home resident, 44, in the face.
An Akron woman, 25, was charged with assault June 8 after she allegedly slapped a woman, 25, in a Caruthers Road residence.

A Regency Park Drive woman told police June 7 that someone used her credit card to buy $3,900 in electronics from Best Buy.

A $700 diamond and ruby ring was reportedly stolen from a patient’s finger at Gaslite Villa on High Mill Avenue Northwest, a June 6 report showed.
Someone stole an iPad and keyboard, total value $1,250, on June 5 from an office at Project Digital on Frank Avenue Northwest.
A Jackson Township woman told police June 5 that someone took her cellphone June 4 from John Knox Presbyterian Church on Eastlake Street Northwest.
A Plain Township woman said a $910 computer was stolen from her car June 10 at Westfield Belden Village Mall parking lot.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reported May 29 that two people stole 55 DVDs, total value $1,047.

A Lake Avenue Northeast man, 21, was jailed for domestic violence June 9 after he was accused of hitting his wife in the head during an altercation.
Charges of domestic violence and violating a protection order were filed against a Moonglo Street Northwest man, 19, on for allegedly assaulting an acquaintance.

A Jackson Township man, 59, of Bundoran Street Northwest, was charged with domestic violence June 10 after he allegedly pushed a woman and dragged her by her hair.

A Canton man, 29, of Third Street Southeast, was arrested on a warrant charging him with breaking into a North Canton home and stealing a diamond ring, laptop computer and other items, total value $30,000.

A Woodrow Street Northwest resident told police June 8 that he was deceived into sending $2,317 via a PayPal account for an item that had been listed on Craigslist.

Arrest
A Millersburg man, 22, was charged with arson June 9 after he allegedly used an accelerant to start a fire at a multifamily home in the 800 block of Nold Avenue. A Wooster woman, 25, suffered critical injuries. Two residents and two officers were treated at Wooster Community Hospital.

A scooter valued at $4,000 was reported stolen June 9 from a home in the 200 block of East Larwill Street.
Jewelry worth $1,500 was reported stolen June 9 from a home in the 300 block of East South Street.
