An East Park Avenue man, 37, was charged with domestic violence May 23 after he allegedly pushed his wife against a wall, slapped her across the cheek and menaced her with a knife.
A Brown Street woman, 32, was charged with domestic violence May 26 after she allegedly put a knife to the throat of her boyfriend.
Burglary
A PlayStation 3 system, games and cash, total value $679, were reported stolen May 25 from an East Robinson Avenue home.
Bath Township
Arrests
A woman, 25, was charged with assault June 1 after she allegedly struck her sister during a quarrel over the unloading of groceries from a car.
Theft
Someone stole a statue valued at $4,000 from a Sparrow Pond Circle home between March 15 and May 31.
Cuyahoga Falls
Arrests
An Akron woman, 21, was charged with theft June 5 after she allegedly took a cellphone at the Cuyahoga Falls High School graduation. The suspect was identified after she took a picture of herself with the phone and posted it on the owner’s Facebook page.
An Oakwood Drive woman, 45, was charged with obstructing justice June 4 after she allegedly gave false information when police were searching for her son, who was wanted on warrants.
A Stow man was charged with domestic violence in the June 5 assault of a Winter Parkway woman.
Assault
An Akron woman, 28, told police she was injured when a driver struck her several times with a Pontiac G6 on Cooper Avenue. She was treated at the scene for an ankle injury.
Breaking and entering
Someone broke into Chelsea’s on the River, 2771 Front St., and stole cash and a plastic container May 30.
Burglary
Someone broke into a home in the 700 block of Hollywood Avenue and stole prescription medication.
Forgery
Someone created counterfeit checks for Lil’ Frog Fashions, 412 Chestnut Blvd., and cashed nine of them for more than $12,000.
A Winter Parkway man, 29, was charged with forgery May 31. During a traffic stop, police discovered the man had a forged Ohio identification card with a fake name and birth certificate.
Identity theft
A Northampton Road man told police June 5 that someone used his identity to file a federal tax return.
An 18th Street man reported June 5 that someone used his identity to make about $4,000 in unauthorized charges to his credit accounts.
A Seventh Street woman told police June 4 that someone used her identity to open a utility account, leaving a balance of about $500.
A Sackett Avenue man told police June 2 that someone used his personal information to sign up for a credit card, then charged more than $3,000 to the bogus account.
Theft
A 2002 Hyundai Sonata was stolen June 4 from the 2200 block of Winter Parkway.
Five guitars, total value $2,400, were stolen May 11 from an Elmwood Avenue yard.

A Swigart Road woman, 46, was charged with felony domestic violence May 19 after she allegedly chased her boyfriend outside with a golf club and then with a garden tool.

An Ewart Drive man, 48, was charged with domestic violence May 27 after he allegedly pushed his ex-wife, knocked a cellphone from her hand and threw it in the woods.
Felonious assault
A Bedford man, 20, was wanted on a warrant alleging felonious assault of a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in an incident at the Waffle House on South Arlington Road.
Theft
An employee of Chappy’s Cruise Thru on Canfield Road reportedly scanned several lottery tickets and cashed winners totaling $5,000, a manager told police May 22.

A woman, 21, was charged with obstructing official business June 4, and 18 people, ages 18 to 20, were charged with underage drinking after police broke up a loud party in the 1200 block of Grovewood Drive.
An Aurora man, 22, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs June 1 after police reported finding methamphetamine during a traffic stop on West Avenue.
Aggravated assault
Police were investigating a road-rage incident June 2 in which a driver chased down another vehicle at Lions Park, nearly causing a crash, then got out of the vehicle, grabbed and shoved the other driver, and pulled a knife.
Aggravated robbery
An aggravated robbery was reported June 1 in the 500 block of North Munroe Road.
Criminal simulation
Someone tried to use a counterfeit $50 bill June 5 to buy goods from Dollar General at 49 Midway Plaza.
Forgery
Someone stole three checks from Promold-Gauer, 487 Commerce St., forged signatures and cashed them at three bank branches for more than $12,000 between May 31 and June 3.
Misuse of a credit card
A Peck Road man reported June 4 someone used his debit card number to wire $700 to someone in Florida.

Arrest
A Main Street man, 41, was charged with disorderly conduct and desecration June 5 after he allegedly took down a flag from the town square and wrote on it.

An East Oak Street woman, 40, was charged with domestic violence and criminal damaging June 6. Later that day, she was arrested again on a charge of violating a protection order.
A Shalersville man, 31, was arrested June 5 on an aggravated menacing warrant.
A Ravenna man, 44, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary June 3.
A Lake Street woman, 34, was charged with domestic violence June 4.
A Cherry Street woman, 22, was charged with assault June 3.

Someone broke into a home May 31 in the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue and stole running shoes, batteries and fitness equipment.
Someone broke into a Dodge Street home May 31 and stole jewelry, cash and a wallet with credit cards.
Someone broke into an East School Street home May 31, but nothing was reported missing.

Police charged a Cherry Street man, 26, with felony domestic violence May 27 after he allegedly punched his live-in girlfriend, threw her across the floor and choked her.

Cash, a computer and other items, total value $2,650, were reported stolen May 24 from a Waterford Avenue Northwest home.
Theft
A Canton student at Brown-Mackie College on Munson Street Northwest told police May 24 that someone stole his iPad valued at $650 at the school.

A Portage Street Northwest man, 53, was charged with domestic violence May 27 after he allegedly hit his wife in the mouth during a quarrel.

A West Maple Street man told police May 23 that someone stole $740 from his home.
Theft
Two diamond rings and an iPad, total value $3,000, were reported stolen May 25 from an Applegrove Street Northwest home.

Arrests
Five men were charged with felonies May 29 following a $13 robbery at the Speedway store on Easton Street Northeast at Middlebranch Avenue. A Scenic View Street Northeast man, 18, and an Ocelot Street Northeast man, 18, were charged with aggravated robbery. Charged with complicity were a Lake Township man, 18, of Titus Avenue Northwest, a Knollridge Avenue Northeast resident, 19, and a Camaro Street Northeast man, 21.
A Middlebranch Avenue Northeast man, 39, and woman, 27, were charged with domestic violence May 26 following a fight at their home.
A Spangler Road Northeast man, 34, was charged with felony domestic violence and assault May 25 after he allegedly punched his live-in girlfriend and assaulted her son.

Misuse of a credit card
Bank personnel notified a Salem Street resident May 28 of suspicious charges on her debit card. She told police there were seven charges totaling $1,110 to Facebook.com credits.

A Chippewa Township man reported June 1 that $150 was taken from the Little Flower Greenhouse, 15530 Hametown Road.
Burglaries
A wallet worth $40 was reported stolen June 1 from an unlocked garage in the 1600 block of Sherck Boulevard, Franklin Township.
Two shotguns and a laptop computer, total value $1,400, were reported stolen June 2 from a home in the 60 block of North Kurzen Road, Sugar Creek Township.
Thefts
A Wayne Township woman reported May 13 that she believes her grandson forged and cashed checks worth $454.
Thirty packages of steaks and roasts were reported stolen June 2 from a garage freezer in the 20 block of North Main Street, Marshallville.
Vandalism
A Shreve funeral director reported May 31 that 11 marble and granite headstones valued at $11,000 were pushed over and damaged at Oak Grove Cemetery, 8333 Cemetery Road, Clinton Township.
Wooster
Arrest
A Wooster man, 39, was charged with vandalism, aggravated menacing, disorderly conduct and criminal damaging June 3 after he allegedly damaged a police cruiser, yelled profanities and threatened people at a home in the 600 block of North Bever Street.
Arson
A home in the 300 block of Lucca Street was discovered on fire May 31. Damage was set at $24,000.
Burglaries
A computer was reported stolen May 31 from a home in the 700 block of East Henry Street.
A television and frozen steaks, total value $210, were reported stolen May 29 from a home in the 600 block of College Avenue.
Domestic violence
A resident reported May 29 that two brothers fought and broke household items at a home in the 500 block of North Walnut Street.
Thefts
Tools and copper wire, total value $8,300, were reported stolen May 31 from trailers at McClintock Electric, 1900 Akron Road.
A 2004 Mercury was reported stolen May 30 from a home in the 300 block of West Larwill Street.
