PLAIN TWP. — Stark County Sheriff’s deputies said they nabbed two of three people they believe were involved in the burglary of a home Wednesday and found loot reported stolen during other crimes.

According to a release by the sheriff, events unfolded like this:

Deputies responded to reports of a burglary in progress in the 2500 block of Cathy Drive NE.

Witnesses said the suspects had a gun and fled the scene in a box truck. Deputies saw the truck headed east on 30th ST. NE and tried to stop it. The vehicle eventually stopped, but two men inside tried to run away.

With the assistance of K9 units from the sheriff’s office and Canton police, Raejon Marquell Williams was taken into custody. The release said he was charged with aggravated burglary and other charges.

A second suspect is being sought in connection with this incident. And a girl, too young to be charged as an adult, faces juvenile charges in the incident, the release said.

When deputies searched the box truck used in the home burglary, they said they found a firearm, an Airsoft gun. They said they also found an ATV and motorcycle reported stolen in Canton.

Deputies ask that anyone with information about this case call them at 330-430-3800 or the Tip Line at 330-451-3937.
