Kenneth D. Lindsey, wanted on a murder charge, turned himself in to Akron police detectives Monday, police said.
Lindsey, 28, is suspected of shooting and killing Reginald Edwards, 32, in the parking lot of Lindsey’s apartment on Pine Knolls Drive April 19.
Lindsey and Edwards got into a verbal argument about 6:45 a.m. when Lindsey pulled out a gun and fired a shot, hitting Edwards in the chest, according to police.
It’s unclear what the two men were fighting about.
Lindsey fled his apartment complex in a 2005 Chevy Impala after the shooting, police said, and turned himself into detectives 13 days later. Lindsey was accompanied by his lawyer, Donald “Doc” Walker.
