Akron police are investigating a home-invasion robbery Saturday night on Neville Avenue.

A resident in the 1000 block of Neville said he was outside about 7:30 p.m. when two men armed with handguns ordered him into the house. The robbers then ordered all of the occupants onto the floor and stole their belongings.

They took $630, wallets, credit cards and two cellphones before fleeing, according to an Akron police report.

No one was injured.

Police described the suspects as black men 20 to 30 years old. The first was about 5 feet, 9 inches tall to 5-foot-10 and weighed 150 to 160 pounds, wearing a gray sweat shirt and black Ken Griffey shoes with a white swoosh. The second was 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11 with a mustache. He wore blue jeans and Timberland boots.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 330-375-2490.
