A Nanuala Drive man, 19, was charged with robbery and felonious assault after he allegedly punched another man several times and knocked him to the ground, causing multiple injuries. He then allegedly took the man’s shoes and fled the scene.
A Hillwood Drive man, 40, was charged with felonious assault and aggravated burglary after he allegedly was in a fight with another man. The man left the scene, came back with a gun, chased the other man into a house and shot at him, officers said.
A West Market Street man, 41, was charged with domestic violence and theft after a fight at a Byers Avenue home. A woman told police that the man came over to her home intoxicated. When she asked him to leave, he hit her in the face multiple times, stole $350 from her purse, took her car keys and left in her vehicle.
A South Garden Court man, 25, was charged with harassment by bodily fluids, disorderly conduct and theft after he allegedly tried to steal beer from a store. After officers took the man into custody and tried to put him in a wagon, he allegedly became violent and spit on an officer.
A Laird Street man, 49 was charged with tampering with evidence, drug paraphernalia and littering after police reported seeing him urinating on the sidewalk in front of a known drug house. When officers stopped to speak with the man, he took a crack pipe out of his pocket and threw it, police said.
An Aldis Drive man, 29, was charged with breaking and entering and safecracking after he allegedly used an employee key card at a business to enter an unauthorized area and steal money bags and cash from a safe. An Aldis Drive woman, 26, was charged with complicity to breaking and entering and complicity to safecracking in the incident.
A Rosamond Avenue man, 26, was charged with trafficking and drug possession after undercover detectives reported seeing the man engaging in drug activity.
A Thornapple Avenue man, 25, was charged with drug abuse and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after police reported seeing him in a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

A spokesman for Akron Auto Auction on Ley Drive told a sheriff’s investigator Sept. 5 that a Cambridge man wrote two checks totaling $13,465 for two vehicles, but the checks were returned for nonsufficient funds.

A Powell Avenue resident told police Sept. 11 that someone used her credit card number to make purchases at two Sam’s Clubs totaling $4,108.

A Ninth Street boy, 15, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 15 after he allegedly struck his father with an electrical plug.

A Manchester Road girl, 14, was charged with aggravated robbery and resisting arrest Sept. 10 — four days after an incident at Manchester High School’s football stadium. A police officer providing security at the game said the girl asked several times if she could touch his gun and anything else on his duty belt and he told her “no” each time. In the fourth quarter, the girl allegedly came up behind the officer, grabbed his gun and quickly let go. She was physically abusive to the officer when he escorted her out of the game and released her to her mother.

A Grenfall Road man, 24, told police Sept. 15 that three teens came to his house to buy marijuana. When they grabbed the drug and fled without paying, the man held onto their car. They dragged him a half-mile before he let go. He was transported to Summa. The suspects were charged with robbery and drug trafficking.

A Lakemore man, 52, of Lake Road, was charged with felony domestic violence Sept. 10 after he allegedly hit his girlfriend in the face.
Aggravated robbery
Two men in a car pulled up beside a pedestrian Sept. 6 in the 1600 block of Killian Road. One man pulled a handgun and demanded money. The pedestrian said he handed over $500 and the robbers fled.

A Lakemore man, 21, of Main Street, was wanted on a domestic violence warrant Sept. 6 after he allegedly told his mother that he was going to kill himself and burn down the house.

A video game system and other items, total value $1,320, were reported stolen Sept. 12 from a Chevelle Drive home.
A handgun, ring with five diamonds and other jewelry, total value $2,500, were stolen from a Krumroy Road bedroom, a resident reported Sept. 10.
Another Krumroy Road resident said Sept. 5 that he found pry marks on a door and later discovered two necklaces and 20 rings, total value $1,500, were missing.

A Lake Run Boulevard man reported Sept. 19 someone in New York used his credit card to pay for wireless phone service.
An Akron woman reported Sept. 19 that someone stole her wallet at the Acme at 4445 Kent Road. Credit cards were used for unauthorized purchases.
A Pebblehurst Drive woman told police Sept. 15 that someone broke into her car and took several items, including a credit card. The card was later used at a nearby fast-food restaurant.

Stereo equipment valued at more than $500 and $5,000 cash were taken Sept. 16 from a vehicle parked in the 4400 block of Hudson Drive.

The owner of Solutient Technologies on Promway Avenue Northwest reported Sept. 11 that someone forged and cashed a $2,870 business check. The account number was correct but the check was fake.

An Akron man and a Wooster woman were charged with drug trafficking Sept. 12 after Medway agents arrested them at a home in the 1600 block of Old Mansfield Road.
Two Wooster men, ages 31 and 25, were charged with theft, receiving stolen property, misuse of credit cards and forgery Sept. 13. The 31-year-old man also was charged with heroin possession.
